The PNU-NanoLab activities are focused on the synthesis of new materials and the study of their structure, morphology, chemical composition, magnetic properties, electrical properties, optical properties, thermal properties, and electrochemical properties.

Our area of expertise includes:

  1. Synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles using sol-gel, self-combustion, and hydrothermal approaches.
  2. Synthesis of graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide.
  3.  Synthesis of metal oxide / rGO nanocomposites.
  4.  Obtaining plant-derived porous carbon materials with controllable morphology.
  5.  Electrode materials for symmetric and hybrid supercapacitors.
  6.  Electrocatalysts (Ni and Pd nanoparticles embedded in porous matrices).

New directions of scientific activity:

  1. Perovskite materials for fuel cells (new direction)
  2. Kesterite materials for solar cells (new direction)
